Completely sort of car [un]related
Got the fridge working, I think it was a fault of a bad ground (body ground only, changed to ground back to battery)
Intended to paint this bumper to replace the one I damaged in a collision a while back, but it turns out the 91-94 model I bought is different enough from my 97 that its a no-go. Bummer.
Painted the front door on my rental property and polished the kick plate (thank you maguires DA kit!) and did a little weeding and such at the property.
Saw what I can only assume is a replica Shelby. Also a CRD liberty, which actually made me happier than this rolling toupee. (nothing against the Cobra, I love it in context, but the replica seems to exists only for old guys to peacock).
Took of my rear driveshaft to try and hunt down the source of some bad driveline lash (I suspect the rear slip joint but I needed to check to see if the rear pinion crush sleeve had been damaged). I got some much needed help fixing those “squeaks” too, which is nice.
Went on a very short (like a mile) scenic hike near my house. Lots of bees. Turns out there are bolts at the top for rappelling, I should try that sometime, sounds like fun.
Now I’m just sitting down trying to write out a lesson and not being very productive.
EDIT: Also, this is the picture I chose for the contest
I took the raw and spruced it up a touch.

Pretty sure I used to see that same Cobra bombing down Vine on weekends. Also in the Murray 4th parade every year.

What is that fridge? I’m thinking of converting an aluminum cargo trailer into a camper next year. I don’t want to do a propane system, so I was thinking of just using coolers, but I’m open to better ideas.

Just soda now but these types of fridges (12v compressor) are common/popular with trailers, you just need the amps, a fridge like this at fridge temps (it will also happily freeze) will draw about 20 amps a day. Pricey though.
